Boulder County and the cities and towns within the county, face risks from hazards every day. These hazards vary in their probability of occurrence. Communities are faced with not only the threats themselves, but also with a wide variety of other factors which make the process of mitigating against, preparing for and responding to them more complex. Emergency Operations PlanThe purpose of the Emergency Operations Plan is to delineate task assignments and responsibilities for the operational actions that will be taken prior to, during, and following an emergency or disaster affecting local government in order to alleviate suffering, save lives and protect property. The Boulder Emergency Operations Plan has been adopted by Boulder City Council and the Boulder County Board of Commissioners. The Emergency Operations Plan is available for review upon request.
